# LOCKING MECHANISM

The locking period will range from 1 week to 5 years, the basic idea is the longer the time you lock, the higher the number of rewards you will receive. You can only keep or increase the lock time, you cannot lower your lock time

You can unlock your $TALETE before the time ends but you can only receive 10% of what you locked, the rest, the remaining 70%, is used to rewards the people who are still locked.

Therefore before locking your Libero you should also decide how many percent of your $TALETE will be used to receive passive income in BUSD.

<mark style="color:blue;">•</mark>If you lock the $TALETE for <mark style="color:blue;">5</mark> <mark style="color:blue;">years</mark>, you will receive the <mark style="color:blue;">100%</mark> of the weekly rewards

<mark style="color:green;">•</mark>If you lock the $TALETE for <mark style="color:green;">4 years</mark>, you will receive the <mark style="color:green;">80%</mark> of the weekly rewards

<mark style="color:yellow;">•</mark>If you lock the $TALETE for <mark style="color:yellow;">3 years</mark>, you will receive the <mark style="color:yellow;">60%</mark> of the weekly rewards

<mark style="color:orange;">•</mark>If you lock the $TALETE for <mark style="color:orange;">2 years</mark>, you will receive the <mark style="color:orange;">40%</mark> of the weekly rewards

<mark style="color:red;">•</mark>If you lock the $TALETE for <mark style="color:red;">1 year</mark>, you will receive the <mark style="color:red;">20%</mark> of the weekly rewards

if you are not satisfied, you can increase your lock and your locktime
